Mobile fresh water units keep salmon healthy

Watercycle reference

Salmon aquaculture is big business. But it is a business that is plagued by parasites in salmon ponds, endangering fish health and wellbeing and thus the farms’ profitability. Farmers looking for an alternative to aggressive chemicals can now combat this threat using a fresh water system.

Hatenboer-Water has developed a mobile water maker specifically for constantly keeping pond water fresh. It has a high production capacity but only a small foot print due to its minimal energy use.

The complete mobile water supply unit is capable of producing 500 m3 per day fresh water out of sea water in a container of 20ft. Ideal for use on feed stations and small well boats. Keeps salmon healthy and parasites at bay.
