Sludge dewatering in largest centralized industrial WWTP in The Netherlands

Title

Sludge dewatering in largest centralized industrial WWTP in The Netherlands

Watercycle reference

Our HAUS DDE-3542 decanter minimizes the sludge discharge costs and reduces the total operational costs of the largest centralized industrial wastewater treatment plant in The Netherlands. The wastewater of four companies at industrial area ‘Vossenberg’ in Tilburg is treated at one WWTP (Fuji, Agristo, Coca Cola & IFF).

The composition of the influent of the centralized WWTP in Tilburg differs because of the varying sludges from the four different companies. The design of the WWTP is based on the ability to handle large fluctuations in feed capacity and sludge compositions. The HAUS DDE decanter series are able to handle the varying sludges and dewater the sludge after the membrane bioreactor with an optimum dry solids percentage combined with the lowest possible Total Cost of Operation (TCO). The fully automated dewatering process requires minimum operational efforts from the operators.

Results: Highest separation efficiency and lowest operational costs.
